Insomnia
I cant sleep at night. No matter how tired, sleep just wont come. By morning, my body is drained from tossing and turning and I can sometimes shut my brain off by then…or at least, press pause.
But he’s pissed if I sleep in the morning because he’ll always have to get the kids off to school. So sometimes, instead of pressing pause, I hit fast forward and get the kids off to school. Once they’re gone, it seems to be easier to fall asleep. But he gets pissed if I sleep then. Then he has babies all afternoon. Cant sleep early evening, he’d really get pissed. The kids get home from school then. There’s homework and supper…baths and bedtime.

Dear Parents Who Think It’s An Option To Pay Child Support Only When Its Convenient For You,
It isn’t. You dont see me not feeding them any dinner this month because… I ‘don’t feel like it’ or because…I may ‘not have enough money for something else I want/need’. I just do it. It’s my RESPONSIBILITY as their parent. You cant pick and choose WHEN you want to take care of your kids. Its an 18 year, 24/7 job. However long or short your visitation with them is, DOES NOT make you a part time parent. Once your visit is over…the kids…STILL need taken care of. Even though they’re not right in front of you…the children still…ARE. Whether or not you can see them, they’re still your kids and you’re still a parent. You’re a parent AT ALL TIMES.
If you cant afford kids…dont have any.
Visitation should def depend on whether or not your CS is paid…or, at least, a true effort is being made to pay as much of it as you can.
I, honestly, wouldnt care if you could only truly afford $5 a week and paid that! It’s better than nothing! And, for me…the point of doing all that you possibly could for the kiddies, shows how great of a parent you are. It’s NOT who pays more, buys more, spoils more…It’s a parent who does everything they CAN do.
